In my opinion the PZeros were a bit more grippy in their first 10k miles when temps were over 75F. But they gave up the ghost fast. The Contis are thread wear 340 vs the Pirelli 220. I'm curious to see what fvcrew22 thinks.

Yeah, I bought my car with about 7k miles on it in January 2014. The first summer I had it the pzeros had pretty good grip when it was warm out, I would say pretty similar to the conti's at that point. I had around 10-12,000 on them by then. Once the temps dropped into the 60s and below they lost grip big time, by the second summer the grip was pretty low under acceleration. The lateral grip remained decent throughout their life, keeping in mind that I never pushed them too hard. By the time I replaced them at 45k miles I couldn't give it more than about half throttle in 1st & 2nd within them slipping.

I will say I never remember the wet traction being as good as the conti's. The pzeros did have more steering feel for sure, but the grip is still there in the conti's, it just takes a little getting used to. Since my car's a DD, I don't mind trading a little steering feel for their current grip and a quieter ride.

Just before I put the car away I had the intake cover done. I already had the coil cover done.

Charged the battery, inflated the tires, and watched it sleep in the garage under cover. Can't wait for warmer weather.

The Roush got ****ed today.

Stopped at a red light on my way home from work, chick hit me from behind, and pushes my into the SUV in front of me. Dont think she ever hit the brakes.

Luckily the speed limit was 30, so it wasnt a ridiculously high speed event. Im ok, whiplash will probably be a ***** in the morning though. No one was seriously injured. Mustang did its job, held up pretty well, but its going to be a pretty penny to fix.

Very Sad, was a great looking RS! Glad no one hurt, other than the car. I would just be sick. Best of luck with whatever you decided to do with it...

So it it time for a new one? You can pick up a fairly new 2014 RS2/3 pretty cheap now. Or even move to an S550.

Yeah, I read that a couple of days ago, but I'm not worried about it, and whose to say if it is true? Besides, he only has my cell number.

Svtperformance had a thread on it also, he's a vendor there though so they deleted it. It seems to be quite true from what I've read.
Just told me the kind of person he is.
I'll never recommend someone to him, I'll never spend a penny with him.
