I chose an SC for a few reasons.

a) ease of install
b) immediacy of torque

I chose a Roots style over centri for a few reasons as well.

a) immediacy of torque
b) the blower "whine"
c) how it looks in the engine bay
d) ease of install

I would LOVE to have a turbo BOSS 302! Big gains and lots of pulling power.

Just the polished base 18s. My summer tires and rims will go on after work so I can make a datalog run. Supposed to do a run in 3rd gear from 1000 rpms to redline with no wheel spin. Stock tires spin at 60mph now.

Fired up the Green Machine today after working out and backed her out of the garage. Man, that felt awesome. Puts a smile on my face every single time. Ran up and down the driveway a couple times to rotate the tires and get the parts moving again.
Moved the snowblower back to the back of the garage, swept it up a bit and put the Green Machine back to sleep.

Speaking of which,................BOOSTWORKS just finished up a build with their own turbo kit. NASSSTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
They managed to squeeze 675whp and 602wtq out of their base model Automatic GT at 8.5psi. This is on 93 octane, with an otherwise stock engine. Timing is at a conservative 15.5-16 degrees. The only other mods the car has is a set of Corsa mufflers with 3" piping.
Nasty stuff.

I put on my BMR LCA's along with my summer wheels and tires and then the rain set in so no 0-130 datalog run.

Anything over 15 degrees of timing into a boosted 5.0 is no longer conservative.
It's asking for great fuel in EVERY tank.

Wait, you only started it up just to roll it down the driveway? If you need to rotate the tires, push the car by hand in neutral, don't dry start it and never reach operating temp or drive the car
You should drive that thing more often anyway, don't you have under 5k miles on it or something?

Wrapped the hood yesterday... it turned out mostly okay. Cowel hoods suck to wrap that's for sure. I might re-wrap it later on in a few months but for now it'll have to do. By no means am I pro at this :/ Almost done!

Hard for him to rack the miles up and by my calculations, he made 528,000 trips in and out of his garage to put 5k on his car. Lol

You talking about the purple fuel injectors?
(the rails are stock)
The injectors are ID1000's ... 95-pounders ... overkill for my power level, and I kinda wish I didn't spend the money on them, I could be at this level and even a bit higher with $300 injectors instead of $900 ones :/

Nice Tony! But yeah, I think I recommended to you not to start her anymore during the winter hibernation - but then again, isn't she out for good now? Weren't you already driving her around lately? If so, I don't think you'd need to "rotate" the tires again. Just drive her!

Definitely agree 200% on that. Tony, why do you say 15 to 16 is conservative? Hell, I'm at 12 degrees of timing, putting down 600 whp, and I consider that pseudo-aggressive. LOL.

I tried to tell Tony that so many times... lol... see above. But yeah, he's racked up WAY too many miles on that driveway haha.

That's on the conservative side for their "base kit" is on 93 octane. Well OVER 600HP and OVER 600lbs. of torque at the rear wheels, base kit. The more aggressive kits are well over 1,000 HP. Not sure about the torque numbers. The Whipple kits are putting out killer HP numbers on 93 octane as well. The torque isn't as much as this base kit. That is what I found interesting.
It's the S550 Coyote engine.

LMMFAO
No, I put the snowblower away. It gets tucked into the back of the garage when not in use. Had to move the Green Machine out of the garage to do that.
And yes, I only have 2,600 miles on the car.

I have taken it out twice already this year. I'm messing around with tire comment. lol
I had to put the snow blower away and have to move the Green Machine to do that. I pack it away in the front of the garage during the "off" seasons. lol
Yeah,....that's a conservative tune on 93 pump gas and it's making well over 600 HP at the wheels and over 600lbs. of torque at the wheels. That's just the base kit. IIRC, the more aggressive kits put over 1,000-1,200 HP. Not sure what timing those would be running.

I was cursing myself while I got my ID1000's as well. I went way overkill on my injectors haha. Although I got mine for only 7 and change brand new so it wasn't as bad as yours.
