Unhappy Well I tried a off road H-Pipe...

Well I decided to take a chance it get an Lethal Performance off road H-Pipe for my v6, I really only got it because I wanted to use the bama ghost cam. I tried their ghost cam a year ago for a catted exhaust system and it didnt work at all. This one works but I cant stand the smell of the raw gas, and the noise is terrible with GT500 quad tip axle backs and no resonators. It was really raspy anywhere after 2500 RPM. Sounded way to much like the ricers I despise. It sounded amazing at idle with the ghost cam, just like a old v8. I just couldnt stand the high rpm sound or smell, Im sure if I got the resonators it would have made the sound nice(er) but that smell would get me everytime.

Lethal wont take it back either because I installed it, Literally ran it for like 15-30 minutes before deciding to crawl under and uninstall it. I think it sucks but theres not much I can do about it. If anyone wants them I will link the ebay list at the bottom, PM me for more info. Also I should mention they have the CEL 90 Degree o2 sensor fix on them.

I think Im just going to try and get my money back on them, and try a MPT ghost cam tune, I couldnt do it because they do not support the SCT iTSX, so I am going to have to dish out about $500 for a new tuner and the tunes.

Just wanted to give everyone my honest opinion on off road pipes for the 3.7 v6.

This is my MPT Ghost Cam Tune. I have BBK long tubes with a catted x pipe and Magnaflow Street Series axlebacks. Sad to say our 3.7's sound like weed eaters and the new 5.0's sound like old 'farm trucks', if you go louder than the factory mufflers

What kind of old farm trucks are you hanging around??

OP, add some high flow cats to the lethal pipe. It will help with the rasp and quiet it down a bit, but still allow you to run the ghost cam tune.

I have had more than 1 person ask how to get their 5.0 in their F-150 (AKA Farm Truck) sounding as good as my 6.2.
The Flathead Ford Firing order has always sounded crappy when it was loud in my opinion.
