Watts link/brakes
Watts link/brakes
What do you think of starting with these mods (fays2 watts link and upgrading my brakes (ss lines/fluid and pads)? After 3/4 months, upgrading to tokico shocks/FR struts/HR springs. I'm throwing around the idea of occasional tracking (nothing serious).
Hey, man, you may want to contact Modshack. He's got the Fays 2 watts link from what I can remember. He's very knowledgeable, too, and I feel as though he'll be able to answer any and all questions you've got. Sam Strano is also an excellent source of information regarding suspensions and how to set them up correctly.

how about change the fluid and do a couple of track days and decide what to do..
watts link would be way down on the track for fun a couple times a year list..
you can go a very long way with a fluid a pad change.

Awesome setup. With the newer mustangs chassis, these suspension upgrades feel as good as (even better) my 03 cobra. My 03 has a severely modified suspension setup with coilovers on all corners as well as a built independant rear suspension. I experienced this setup with the Fays2 Watts Link and Tokiko shocks at the Nurburgring. Dennis's car also has H&R springs. I argued that his car is a race car posing as a street car!!!!

Update: well I went against everything I said. I ordered the Tokico D-specs and will arrive on Mon. Leaning toward HR sport springs and "c" gt500 strut mounts but first I need to save again. I wanna do install myself so I'm checking out torque wrenches. Downloaded Tech manual for specs. Anyways in the mean time just window shopping and reading/watching "how to videos". Stang and NFL season = exciting.
