Obviously, the guy in the red shirt is not a drag racer. Give me one reason IRS is better on a drag strip.

The current gen Camaro makes a pretty compelling argument against your assertion (as well as the litany of low 11 second and high 10 second LS7 equipped Z06's).
However I've a better reason for sticking with the SRA (mind you this was written about a porsche).
At the end of the day, thats what its all about.

I did sample the latest 530hp GT2, which is a fair bit quicker than the 477hp model. But it has mellowed a little, put on weight, traded some of the rawness for an extra dash of perfection. A better car, yes. A more rewarding drive, perhaps not.
