V6's with 19" wheels??
V6's with 19" wheels??
The photos from the LA media testing days show V6's with 19" x 8.5" wheels (like the GT/CS, but with darker paint), which aren't in the Order Guide but MAY be the Performance Pack wheels mentioned in the spec sheet.
I would expect this kind of change would affect the handling of the cars. I don't follow these things closely, but would Ford let media people drive cars that weren't to spec? Could these cars be the V6 Performance Pack??
Both cars in this pic:

In this pic you can see there is no "GT" etched into the machined face of the rim, unlike in the order guide for the GT/CS.

I think that's a good guess, that those must be the V6 Performance Package wheels . . . which suggests we will be seeing test results from the perf pack very soon . . . and also tells me I need to be patient
I kinda hope it's not true. I don't see any of the rumoured Recaros in those cars.
Do these look like the GT's brake discs in the V6? It's hard to tell, there would only be about 0.8" difference otherwise.

I found my answer this morning. There was a thread back in January about the Performance Pack. It gets the 2011 GT brakes with performance pads, GT suspension, and other tuning goodies.
