Valet key functions/limitations?

Valet key functions/limitations?
I want a spare key for valet and emergencies, and the fully functional version is $275 while the valet is $20... Didn't need a calculator for the 10x+ difference to get my attention.
In the 2011 Mustang manual, am unable to locate adequate info on what the valet key allows/disables.
Does it assume standard MyKey features?
How does it handle the Active Security System?
Is the dealer the only source?
