Hey herbert actually I do. I rotate between my three mustangs (02 GT vert, 06 coupe, and 12 coupe) and my grandads 91 S-10 that I inhereted. Now that I think about am kinda supprised it doen't have more miles on it because I love driving it. It drives better that the other two.
The 02 has 118,000 the 06 has 42,000 and the S-10 has 88,000.

Gas Mileage for a '11 V6 MT convertible calculated:

Over 6100 miles, about 2 months worth 95% on the Interstate in OH & PA at average 80 mph.......... 26.2 MPG

Car has 40K miles on it; 40-50 degree weather, 18" tires, stock 2.73 axle, no A/C engaged, top up and tire psi = 30 for all.

I keep a gas log for the IRS.
Pretty fair result I'd say !

Return trip including running about 76 in the 75 MPH zone, 187.8 miles as before, 6.00 gallons, and 31.3 MPG.

Very satisfied with the fuel economy.

CCT the S-10 Was My Grandads last Vehicle He didn't drive it much. Unfortunately what hurt the 02 was two years of twice a week, 100 mile round trip to Atlanta for Classes, plus the regular daily drive back and forth to work. It had about 40K on it when I started and around 88K two years later.

Don't over fill the tank! When the pump kicks off after the first click, stop!

Not sure on the new Mustangs, but my 2005 Ford F150 had to have the overflow canister (part of emissions) replaced, as it became saturated with fuel because I did exactly what you did; I'd continue to add fuel to the tank until it clicked off 3 or 4 times. The repair tech told me this overfills, and the fuel ends up in this canister, which is only supposed to collect fumes, and not fuel itself.

Right...

Tell us miles traveled and gallons of fuel used, not just what the highest the dash readout went up to.

Ah I am not an idiot so get that out of your head first of all and second of all I did the calculations from gallons to miles generated. If I can install a supercharger on my own I think I know how to do the math to figure out my mileage.

212.6 miles
9.01 gallons of fuel.

Equates to 23.59 miles per gallon. In case your curious the gauge read out at 23.5 as well
