Unable to turn off ESC/Advancetrac, but also not working
Hi all. 2013 convertible pony package, v6, auto. Only has 52k miles, and no obd codes or other diagnostic messages showing on my scanner. The one fuse that mentions ESC in the passenger fuse box is good. Both the esc off and warning lights come on during startup as expected.
Pushing the ESC button does not cause the "off" light to illuminate and no message appears. Holding the brake and the esc button also does nothing. But if I get into the gas even a little on a damp road while turning, she tries to get sideways on me.
Anyone seen this? Or have any theories? If it just wouldn't turn off, I'd suspect the switch is bad. But since it acts like it IS off but doesn't say it is, I dunno.
