Torq thrust brembo brake clearance?

Hey everyone, I have been looking around for some time now for American Racing Torq Thrusts that will fit the brembo brakes up front. Does anyone know if they will fit or what specific offset is needed?

Also, I was on Carid and they said the 2014 GT/w brembos would fit with 18x9” 34mm offset in the front, and 18x10” 45mm offset in the back. Is this true?

This is on the Torque Thrust page at American Racing
We can't find products matching the selection.
I would tend to believe the manufacturer over Car ID

I would be amazed if they clear; because the spokes are too "thick" and take too much space back into the wheel, where those big Brembo calipers are

to clear the Brembo calipers, the spokes need to be out toward the edge of the wheel, not curling way back in like a classic Cragar Mag or Torque Thrust wheel or a deep-dish bullitt wheel

you might get them to work with a huge spacer; but they will poke like crazy ... and personally I would not use spacers, for other reasons

I Have Been on the Brembo Merry Go Round With my 07 Gt-500! Wheel Choices are Minimal as Far As My Taste! I do Like the American Racing Torq Thrust! For Sure! But I Also Like The 18" over 20"s

So I Feel Your Pain!

I went to American Racing site and unless you are getting custom made wheels as of now you are not getting Torque Thrust, in fact if you put in 2014 Mustang GT it comes up with a 17X9 as the only wheel and they would be close to not fitting since Fords own 17's don't fit the GT brakes.

I just received an email back from them today, here’s what they said:

Hi Jeremy, thanks for reaching out to us here at American Racing Wheels.

Based on our system a 18x9 +0mm offset will work all the way around it will sit flush within the fender.

A 18x8 -12mm offset and 20x8 +0mm offset will work but only with modifications on the Mustang.

This seems kind of odd because I have never heard of this setup before. It’s not even listed as an option available on American racings website.

there is no way an 18x9 wheel with 0mm offset will sit inside the fender on an S197 Mustang -- correct offset is +35-38mm; this means they would poke about 35mm with is roughly 1-1/2"

the 8' width sizes aren't even close to correct either .... correct offset for 8.5" wheel is +28-32mm; 8" wheel would be about 1/4" less, or roughly +23-27mm
