Glad to hear that your quiet stops are back! One thing that really bugs me is a car with squeaky brakes. Nice cars should not have squeaky brakes, glad to "hear" you are back to normal!

Well the squeal started again.
No way was I going back to my regular mechanic. I'm already out about $500 for new pads and turned rotors on all 4 wheels. I went to a shop that had a former Ford guy doing the brakes on cars. He felt the Wagner pads were too hard for the GT and bought new pads from Ford. He says the rotors are fine and everything else is fine. $321 later I am currently driving a car with no squeal again. We shall see if this lasts. Maybe I shouldn't be so sensitive but I dislike noisy brakes even if they work perfectly. This is getting expensive!!

Need to go take it across the Skyway and go into the corners at speed and slow down, that will get the rust off of them

Couldn't agree more! Doesn't matter if the brake pads work perfectly or not, I mean what good are they if they squeal or if they're noisy... IMHO a good quality brake pad shouldn't be noisy at all, especially knowing how expensive they cost these days... In the meantime, I really hope these new pads will last for quite a while without squealing...
