Where's the Shelbys?

Was so hoping the GT500 would be shown by now? Are they waiting for some big unveiling later in the day/week? Hopefully we get to see an example of those two-tone stripes packages!

You do realize press days go on through tomorrow, right? Also, its already been said that the 2011 GT500 probably won't be shown til Chicago in Feb. Keep your pants on, its coming.

Unless it looks better in person, I would be tempted to swap it out for the previous version. I think the stripe itself may be okay, but the way the gtCS is, meh.

Meh. Not really digging the carbon fiber type dash trim. The dark charcoal looks fine.

I was disappointed when they were released in '07. I was content with having an original one of 4k+ cars.....oh well...

Yeah just a little wait till the '11 gt500 reveal. Ford likes to stretch the press releases out to keep the hype going. '11 V6 in LA, '11 GT in Detroit, '11 GT500 in Chicago etc etc.

welcome by the way

Had to look up the Brembo tire width in inches cuz I can never remember how to read the tire sizes. 10" wide tires with brembos are exactly what I am talking about! Just pisses me off that it seems they won't offer that package with the auto trans cars. I like the gtCS lower front fascia, never been a fan of billet grills though. Wonder if that crazy new wing on the back negates the rear backup camera option. I also wonder how that yellow would look as a stripe on Kona? Keep the news coming guys, appreciate it a bunch!

Hmm...well I like the GT/CS interior, but I don't like the exterior at ALL. The 4x4 stance, huge pedestal spoiler, tucked wheels and that fascia that still has the mutton chops under neath the chin spoiler.

Not feeling it. No offense to anyone who likes it

That rear spoiler will most definitely negate the back up cam option if you get it

That's why I wish Ford had put the cam in the rear badge, but I was told the spoiler was a better place for visibility. They're probably right though

I like the GT/CS front bumper! The wing I'm not too crazy about.

Can we finally get rid of the stupid retro gauges. Nothing else on this interior is "retro" anymore, and that's a good thing. These gauges look out of place now.

I agree. The carbon fiber interior looks kinda cool, but I just don't see the point of the GT/CS package. All those add ons can be had seperately. Why not just add your own appearance accesories rather than pay to have the combination chosen for you? Are there any performance enhancements to the GT/CS? I didn't think I saw anything mentioned.

I also agree with what other have suggested that Yellow Blaze is probably like Grabber Blue in that it probably looks better in person. It looks very "Canary" Yellow in some of the pics. Too Light. So far I think I prefer Sunset Gold.

Hmm looks like the GT/CS seats have that "carbon fiber" weave inserts as well as the dash. Mmm I can't wait to hear that new 5.0 with aftermarket exhaust!!!

Also, whose "bright" idea was it to put red lights over the red car? It is so washed out in the pics!
