Tinted just the Rear Window...
Did not want the interior too dark so only did the back. Went with a "Medium" shade.
The Interior is Black on Black on Black... tinting all the windows would have just been to much for "my" tastes. Was not going for a "LOOK" but for function..
I live in CA drive the car year round, park it outside, needed the sun blocked at the rear window as UV damage was inevitable with that much sun coming in.. Use a front flip screen for the windshield when parked. By tinting just the rear it darkens the others just fine and has not reduced visibility, which is what I wanted..
Anyone else tinted just the rear?
Pic's from my work so not the best setting.. You get the idea though.

Looks awesome. I want tint so bad but it's so hard to find someone who will do a good job. That back window is a hard piece to lay down. You need a skilled guy.
Check out covercraft mustang shades for the front. Best shade ever as they are custom cut for mustang. Perfect fit, no light creeps in. I love mine.

Had that done on my my previous car (S4). Was like that when I bought the car and I actually liked it a lot. Was great for driving at night... and looked pretty good too. Never looked out of place to me just having the one window tinted.

The reasons the sides "look" tinted is because the rear let's in less light and I had the front screen in. Once you reduce the light coming in from the rear the sides look darker. That's what I was after and it worked. Also wanted the sides to look "uniform" that's why I did not tint the small Qtr windows..
I saw a 2013 that had the rear and the qtrs tinted and for some reason it looked off as the doors were not.. created a visual "back half-front half look to the car.
