Stupid, stupid pony projectors.

I've had both of the pony projectors replaced on our '13 within the first six months. I appears whatever they use to make the little pony image is breaking down, and all sorts of lines begin to appear. Six months later the news ones look the same, and are going to need replacing one again. Have any of you had this little, but aggravating problem. I know it's a bit whinny, but a lot of folks see these little ponies, and comment on how cool they are. TIA.

Jim

Seems a lot of folks on here have the same issue. I don't have them but I sure wish they'd come out with a fix to help all y'all out.

Thanks deep, I haven't seen any threads, and was wondering if it was just my bad luck. Little Mi Ling must have been working overtime when she built these things.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. Ive seen a few fellas on here with the same issue and it seems like they are getting moisture in them or are just flat out melting inside.

I already had my passenger side replaced. Drivers side is starting to crack and has one line coming out of the mane. I haven't complained about that one yet.

I had both of mine replaced under warranty on my '14 about 2 weeks ago. Car was less than 2 months old. Driver's side had lines through the pony light so it looked like a meteor storm. The passenger side pony light housing just plain fell out and was dangling by the wiring pigtail. A plastic clip on the pony light broke off inside the mirror housing.

Wow that's bad. I'm glad I don't have that "feature". Outta sight outta mind.

He's actually thinking (or already did) of selling it, after all the time/money he put into doing all those punisher mods.
