Hey PJRManagement,
Have you tried a master reset since installing 4.4?
If not, I recommended it. Here are the steps: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-t...ter-reset.html
You can also try SYNC my iTunes; logging in is required to see this tool. Once you’re logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the update page and check it out: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...p-to-date.html

I recently updated to 4.4 in my '13. I use a galaxy note 3. I think it's worse than before now unfortunately. I have set txt message notifications to OFF but it STILL pauses my music briefly(bluetooth audio) then resumes. Sync no longer remembers the volume setting nor the shuffle setting. Prior to 4.4 these were not issues. 1 step forward, 2 steps back it seems. I do like the song title beying displayed though. I almost never use my phone in the car, except for music so this upgrade version is not an improvement to me.

Is it just me but before the update I remember that this this screen was not dimmed like this and I was able to scroll for more info.
Can anyone confirm that with older version the "System Info" screen is not greyed out like this ??

I checked this out for you and the SYSTEM INFORMATION screen is dimmer on the older version than the others; also, those are the only options available.
There is also a SYSTEM INFO option under the i (hard button between NAV and PHONE) which allows you to view more and looks similar to this screen.
I hope this helps!

Not sure if it's 4.4 related but it never happened before but last night when I got into my car Sunc said "Index full" !!!
Nothing was changed since the 4.4 update, same USB key, no file added.
The funny thing is that it was OK for the last 2 months with 4.4, why suddently I have this error ?

I responded to your post on the Ford SYNC Forum. Try those steps and visit your dealer if it continues.

Here is the 2nd video documenting Voice Command and AM/FM button control issues for Sync Basic 4.4 per request of IVT. The radio button seems to override the 911 Assist voice message reminder, however the Voice Command button has no effect in the On/Off loop cycle unless you spam mash the button. I was also having issues where Sync wouldn't even connect to the bluetooth at all while recording at different times.

After a few trips to the dealer, they tested the 911 assist alert displaying even with 911 assist off and alert off on my car and several other non mustangs. They reached the conclusion that this is just how SYNC works. If you have it set to Off without reminders, it only turns off the voice portion of the reminder.
They couldn't duplicate the boot loop and said to test it with a friend's phone. I was able to duplicate it on his phone and during that testing, I found that if I left 911 assist ON, it never boot looped.
So, the solution to both of these issues is: leave 911 assist on. I'd rather leave it off personally, but if this makes my SYNC have less problems, I'm fine leaving it on.

I am currently working on resolving this matter for a few other customers and I am happy to look into this further for you.
Please send a PM with your VIN, name, email, phone number, and complete mailing address.

I recommend scheduling an appointment with your dealer to have the issue resolved. Your SYNC system may need to be re-flashed and they are in the best position to help.
Let me know how it goes.
