Sulfur smell
Does anyone else have a sulfur smell after you jump on your car and give it a good run. Also has anyone noticed sometimes when taking off you push the gas and there sounds like a drop out, almost like a flutter, You can here it in the exhaust, this only happens with RPM's below 1000. however the car runs great.

I've had a three 5.0's, a 2011, 2012, and a 2014, and they all have had that smell after giving them a run up through the revs, with the strength of the smell dependent on how hard you ran the engine.
The flutter is the variable camshafts doing their thing.

The smell can vary some as well depending on the fuel you get. Not just Octane but brand also can make a difference. Some states (Nebraska for example) do not regulate sulfur content in the fuel you get from the pump. Therefore some companies will have higher amounts of sulfur in their fuel and you get strong exhaust odor. Pay attention to the places you buy fuel and do not go back to the strong odor ones... The manufacturer I work for actually released a TSB about high sulfur content fuel and more or less said grocery store gas stations tend to have lower quality fuel based on their testing.

As per my Technical Specialist (and 14Glassback), the exhaust does get hotter under hard acceleration and this odor could be normal. Quality of fuel may also have an effect on the type of odor.
However, if you do not feel comfortable with it, please bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer for diagnosis and PM me with your VIN, full name, mileage, dealer, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.
