Steel Braided Line(s) on the '11?

I found a steel braided flex line in one of the engine compartment pics for the 2011 5.0. Does anyone know if it's new and/or what it is for?

i think that's just the sound induction tube (tube going from intake to cabin with diaphragm in it to prevent transfer of gasses, but to allow transfer of engine sound)

The sound tube (in black) is on top. The steel braided line is (mostly hidden) below it.

My guess is it's a stainless steel clutch line.

That's what I was thinking; or, perhaps, a fuel line? I'm not sure...

Would be nice if it was for a real live oil pressure gauge. Ford needs to put real, honest, non-damped gauges with numbers on them in these cars once and for all.

So they can field 10x more "paranoia" warranty calls? Those who understand how to read real gauges and interpret the data correctly have the aftermarket for them.

Yep you're absolutely right But you gotta love it when my old Chevy S-10 had a real OP gauge
