Have you guys always had a handling charge? I tried to buy a chrome trim piece for my engine cover and the handling fee was the same as the discount. I don't remember a handling charge on my suspension or shift bracket.

Nope. The handling is the fee for touching a product or prepping it for shipping. The site shows a discount for the shipping. I've always thought charging handling was a scam. It is already a built in expense in the original margin in most business models. Turned me off from steeda. It's a bush league thing to do. They didn't use to charge for that.

What a rip. I was gonna get a panhard bar. It's still cheaper than AM's supposed "discount" though. But eh I'm also turned off from buying anything now. What a disappointing Black Friday.

Saddest thing is technically Friday hasn't even started yet lol

Yes, there is a $7.99 handling charge for all labor that is associated with securing your order.

There is still free shipping ... but this handling charge was implemented last year.

Best Regards,

I haven't ordered anything from Steeda yet, but their products look great and I was planning to go with 3 or 4 items from them early next year.

However, Handling Charges and other "sneaky" fees really bug me and I have diverted my purchases from companies in other industries because of it.

Looks like I'll be doing more shopping around!

Yep.... Same with me. That's why I steered away from most of the vendors here on this forum. So quick to try to lure buyers, but don't fulfill on everything else when it really counts. I bought my latest few mods from manufacturers and other wholesale vendors with much much much lower prices than these other vendors. With greater customer service to boot.
