Squeaky driver's seat

hi, I have a 2012 premium manual. Whenever I use the clutch there's a squeak in the seat due to the movement of my leg. Would you recommend I take it to the dealer because I don't know if they will replace the seat. Other than the squeak there's nothing wrong with the seat.

Sounds like a possible loose mounting bolt. I had my seat replaced due to motor failure and Ford said the mounting bolts were one time use bolts. Might just be a loose mounting...

Hey Will3212,

Let me escalate this for you. Please, send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can forward it to the Customer Service Manager for your area and have this looked into.

Will - do you have the seat all the way down to the bottom? I had that problem when I first got mine. If you move it up just barely off the bottom, the noise goes away (if you have the same noise I did).

I tried and didn't work. The squeak is coming from the springs in the seat. It's NOT the back of the seat. It's where your left thigh is. When I move my left leg to depress the clutch the squeak is very loud.
