Will they even bother offering a radio in this beast? Will anyone even notice if they didn't (like anyone will ever listen to it over that motor.)

Love those gray wheels, with the red Brembos peaking out, against the black paint, just the understated yet serious look of underlying menace I prefer. Just like Steve McQueen in Bullitt didn't need a Zoot Suite to gain attention and respect, neither will this 5.0 GT.

The new 302 sounds great, especially at high RPM. What a screamer! The 5.0 badge looks pretty good in the video, much better than the pictures.

Actually in that 2nd pic, the engine really sounds like the GT in Bullitt. Very deep low growl

I saw that it was about to hit 7k RPM, and I didn't see a car in the second video - I just saw a blonde-haired woman with sunglasses.

I have pretty sensitive ears and I couldn't tell a huge difference from a regular 4.6 2V or the 4.6 3V during the engine dyno runs. The second video wasn't a great demonstration of the exhaust tuning, but the 2005-2010 GT's 4.6 3V already has a very well tuned exhaust note from the factory. The low growly sound isn't found on many other V8s - you'd have to look at a IS-F or M3 for a similar note:

Very likely the Mustang in the pic has bigger tires, for sure bigger wheels. In the Specs that Ford has published so far, they state that the 2011 GT with Brembo brakes will get 19x9 wheels with summer-only high performance tires, the non-Brembo 19" wheels are only 19x8.5 (same size as the 2010 Track Pack wheels), no mention yet of what the different 19" tire sizes will be, the standard 18" wheels get 235/50-18 tires. I'm hoping for at least 255 wide tires on the wider 19x9 wheels.

I think they probably did that because someone was smart enough to think it would be a good idea to film a muscle car with summer tires in the snow. That way, if things went sideways, they could just blame it on the woman's driving rather than the moron who thought filming in snow was a good idea.

Dime a dozen in Michigan. The same women also ride Japanese or Italian sport bikes in the summer.

I bet the higher engine operating speed is one reason the 5.0 can make those power figures. The problem with the 5.4 was that it couldn't be revved high enough to take advantage of the better volumetric efficiency - hence the need for blowers. The 5.0's redesign allows it to rev much higher. Although Ford was able to get 350+ hp naturally aspirated out of the 5.4L 4V in the Australian market.

Over 400hp in the 2007 FPV Cobra GT and 2008+ FPV GT. . .

Even the Falcon XR8 had 350+ hp from the 5.4L 4V and it's not even a FPV branded car. I'd love to test drive one of those cars to see how much low end torque they have with normal gearing.
