Interesting. If that is the 2011 car, I can't see much, if any, external differences besides the "5.0" badge in place of the "GT".

I didn't really think they would put the 5.0 badge on the fender but oh well.

It looks as good as the Yamaha V8 in the old Taurus SHO.

Engine bay = perfect 10. Body = no change.

Finally an engine that actually looks good!
Good job Ford!

IF that intake in Aluminum it would be sweet to polish those runners

The 2010 model year had significant changes from the 05-09 body style. Why would anyone expect Ford to spend millions of dollars retooling after just one year?

You do realize they are paying homage to the iconic Fox body 5.0 Mustangs from 79-93, right?

Because after spending tens of millions on developing a new (superb looking and, most likely performing) engine, it'd be nice to be able to spot the differences between the '10 and '11. New facias, as per the California Special, would have been all that was required

What, the 5.0 badge on the fender isn't enough?

I had a 1993 SHO. I loved the look of that engine. This engine looks just as good. I love the new 5.0!

However unconfirmed, I don't believe that anyone truly believed that there was going to be a body change... the engine bay looks great and the 5.0 badging on the fender says all that needs to be said IMO.

Yeah, I don't think anyone was expecting a body change, but we had heard there would be noticeable differences between the 2010 GT and 2011 GT. An ugly 5.0 badge in place of the GT badge is the only difference I'm seeing from that pic. Some are thinking the rear might be tweaked, but only time will tell in that regard. Of course, all that is based on the assumption the pic is legit at all...
