So Who's Waiting?

SO, lets see a show of hands(well not really) from everyone. Who is going to wait for the 5.0 400hp motor? Who is going to pick one of these new stangs up right away with a supercharger package with 400-500hp(either offered from the factory or dealer installed)?

I myself want to wait for the 5.0 400hp motor, but the thought of having a 400hp or 500hp supercharger package right away from the factory would be pretty cool i guess. Plus i wouldnt have to wait. Plus wont the 5.0 have higher compression, which would be a issue with supercharging?**not sure if this is true or not but i have heard this on another forum**

I know most of us are most likely going to wait for the 5.0(most likely myself as well) but lets see a show of hands on who's going to be waiting vs. the people who are going to pull the trigger right away with a supercharger package.

Lets here your opinion!!!!!

I agree with steeda97, but its the feeling of having a "bigger" motor.

but having a 500hp supercharger package right off the bat is pretty cool and you wouldnt have to wait.
plus it gives you the feeling of having the only 2010 mustang on your block right away which i love. i love the feeling of having something that no one else around me has.

but i dont know if i should wait or pull the trigger

I'm waiting for 2011-12 for the 5.0 and for Ford to get all the bugs worked out. Hopefully by then Ford will have the option of getting the grill surround and lower cladding body color.

so what will be the total cost, approximate, as a premium with the blower? seems like you could be headed towards gt500 pricing

I'm waiting on the 5.0

Yes 400/500 hp stangs are available, but the 5.0 is worth the wait for me.
And I can almost guarentee you the 5.0 will be cheaper to buy then buying a 2010 with a 500hp HO supercharger kit install.
