So Who's Waiting?
come on guys, keep em coming. i'd like to here from a whole lot more people.
in the "By Color" section for sunset gold, one member said he heard that, that color might be offered for only one year. Might make the decision process a little harder for people who love that color.

As much as I like the 2010 makeover, I'm going to have to wait until at least 2011, before I'm able to buy one. As my current 05 GT. won't be paid off until then.
In the meantime, I'm hoping that by 2011-12. Ford will be showing it's concept version of the 50th anniversary edition, for the 2014-15 model year.

Well I am completley in love with the Kona Blue GT with HID option, it is simply the sharpest thing ever, but would want to wait for either the 5.0 or the Twin turbo V6. I never thought I'd hear myself say that, but i rented a chrysler crossfire with a mercedes built V6 with no turbos, and i was **** inpressed. It pulled like crazy from 80mph to 130mph. So I see some potential here, especially when the aftermarket comes up with a twin turbo upgrade kit with intercooler. But being its only a year, I think I will live with my 07 GT/CS until 2011, becuase they might also put a six speed behind one of the above bad boys among some other goodies. I am just as impatient as anyone else here, but I think the 2011 stang pimped out with the right selection of the above acutra-mah, would be **** sweet and worth the wait. Plus it gives me time to come up with a little more of a down payment.
Of course, if Ford is still around.......................................

I'm waiting to see what they do with the 5.0, or it they come back out with the Mach 1...been kicking myself in the rear ever since I sold my '04. I love the new look of the GT, but with all the rumors being spread about what they are going to do next...I have to wait and see. I'll just keep rockin' the Fusion until we hear something.
Well considering that it is impossible for me to have sat in a 2010 Mustang, no. I just find it hard to believe that the Mustang's interior would be on par with arguably the best car interiors in the world.
So if the '10 Mustang interior is on a par with affordable Audis, it oughta be pretty daggone nice.
I for one will be interested to make such a comparison for myself at the Washington D.C car show in January (I hope).
I have a 2006 GT; A 400-hp 5.0 V8 is interesting, but not what I'm waiting for. The TTV6 sounds more in line with what I want in a Mustang. I like the sound of a V8, but my daily-driver is a MazdaSpeed 3. The speed3 (a hatchback) pumps 263-hp and 280 ft lbs of torque from a turbo-4. And at 3100-lbs it is a blast to drive. I'm hoping for a lighter, more nimble pony.
HP <> performance IMO. The Challenger SRT8 has plenty of horsepower, but all that horsepower isn't enough to overcome the weight-penalty imposed by its chassis. The same is true of the GT500--tremendous horsepower, with even more available via the SS package, but the weight prevents it from achieving its true potential.
It's not going to happen--but, in the realm of fantasy, a 3,000-lb Mustang with the TTV6 from the MKR concept at 415-hp would have a space reserved in my garage!

cant remember if i posted here or not. as of right now i need to buy a new car to replace the escape in a year. probably another escape, but i will have the 06 paid off by then and should free up some $$$ for another purchase. looks like it will be 2011 before i can get something. (more like the late runs for 2011)
If I buy at all I will be waiting for the 5.0 and hopefully a ugly black plastic delete option or atleast a stong aftermarket option.
I have real issues with the way the new assend looks, the interior is awesome though.
There is no reason why a modern muscle car can't be comfortable, refined, and have high technology.
I'm torn between buying a new one and simply modding my current car. I could add a blower, better wheels & tires, and a suspension upgrade, and a sound system upgrade for less than it would cost me to upgrade to a new car. Then I would have a 400hp Mustang easily with a better suspension, but without the cool body & interior upgrades & Sync.
