Should I get my new Mustang immediately washed and waxed?

Sorry I'm not used to hearing public transportation called "metro". Here it's regional rail or subway or "El" (elevated subway).
In any event, I agree with taking public transportation whenever possible. It saves gas, the planet and beautiful Mustangs from wear and tear.

For some reason in DC it's called the metro. Not sure why. Calling it the subway feels weird to me.
Anyways, DC is actually the most expensive subway system in the nation (but also the cleanest). ****ty reliability, though. Luckily the government pays for all my commuting expenses.
I'm philosophically and politically opposed to this, but I also won't turn down free money. But at least I can say I help keep America safe.

the El is Chicago, right?

My EL is in Philly (the local government administration is called SEPTA). There are others in NY and Chicago. Basically an EL is a subway that travels above ground...

Anybody used this? I saw the pics of the Bullitt after he just had it applied. It was a deep shine!

Took the train for a few years and the car I drove had low miles but a million door dings. Most commuters are always late, in a hurry, and could care less about your car.

There's always a down side; and yes people dont give a rats *** about your car. I was lucky enough to be able to walk to the train, but I can sympathize with the guys that park in an area that can cause damage.

I find it easier to apply and takes less time.
Once you do an initial cleaning and polishing, the rest is easy.
Now that I have sealed the polish with the Zaino CS (clear seal) it is hard to look at in the sun.
The CS takes very little time to apply.
The only problem with Zaino is that it will show paint defects, so the car has to be perfect when you start.

I chose Zaino partially because it took me less time than regular wax.

I am dying to see some zaino style mirror action on a vista blue!!
Does vista blue have metal flake in it?
EDIT: when you talk about paint defects you talking about orange peel ARGHHH!!!! don't get me started !!

I'll keep that in mind, But a short story...
I drove into work with a freshly waxed GT and a female coworker was very impressed w/my shiny red 'stang. Because of that, I got really lucky (if you know what I mean). All I had to do was to show her how to wash/wax her LS400. Mothers was the product that day.

Based on the post above from Walt though, I'm thinking about Mothers now. . .
