Shelby GTS road test
Rob Kinaan frrom Hot Rod magazine testing the ProCharged Shelby GTS.
Wondering a little about the claimed 450 lb.ft. torque...
And I'm with Rob, exhaust sounds like crap.

Maybe someone like me - who knows his late model V6 Mustang would eat your 2007 GT for breakfast! Dead serious...

But you kindda just did.... hehe...
Oh also, IBTL!!!
Btw, I find it hilarious that EVERY single V6 thread, ultimately turns into a "let's bash the V6 mustangs" thread...... some people, I tell you. We're all car guys here... can't we all just get along?

sounds like a Nissan or another import with dual exhaust. but hey what do you expect, its a FI v6, Imports pretty much have that market already coined with the Import sound, Of course it would not sound like a deep throaty v8 like the 5.0l.

Isn't it amazing how much the sound matters? It's impressive what they've done to the V6, and they've added some looks to the car as well. But the sound kills it for me, and it has nothing to do with it sounding like an import on steroids; it just doesn't sound like a car that looks like that is *supposed* to sound. When an American muscle car is suped up and dressed up to look and drive like that one, it's supposed to sound a certain way. I hate to say it, but yeah, the sound alone would keep me from considering it before I got any further down the list of what it does or doesn't do.
