Sedan and Wagon Mustangs? WTF?

Okay, first of all I was in a AOL car chat last night and non-Ford people are ALREADY laughing at us over this RUMOR. These photochops have made my stomach roll 3x over.
If Ford makes this thing and it even REMOTELY RESEMBLES a Mustang....well....I dunno what I'll do. But I'll say this. All my energy that I "BOLDLY" use defending Ford will cease. They will then deserve any and everything they get.

First of all let it be known that we are only thinking of ourselves and this is not right. Could you imagine if they actually built a Station Wagon Mustang? or a four door? Id rather not think about how we feel about this but more so about the people that are going to get shot a few times while driving one of these disasters!

That's actually a nice looking coupe - but call it something else please and to make a nice upmarket coupe like that - you would need a much nicer interior....after all we (the Mustang faithful) will accept the "bare bones" interior for the fun V8 seat of the pants rush....but the sport coupe market is already very crowded with some very compent sedans.....Ford would need to really upscale the interior, reduce road noise, incorporate a more sophisticated suspension, more and better electronics, options,etc. to compete with that crowd......

I would rather see Ford go out of business than see them tarnish the name like this.
If you want to build a sedan or wagon off the same platform... feel free to call it something else and give it distinctive styling
I realize that the Mustang brand is one of the most recognizable in the world, but putting it on anything other than a RWD 2-door coupe shows how utterly incompetent some of the people in the automotive industry are.
