SCT tuner changes its serial number ??
Hey guys...really strange issue here. Here's the deal: I just got some updated tunes from Brenspeed. I updated my X3's firmware to the newest update, all was going well, until I went to load my tunes...Serial number does not match! Ok, weird, maybe Brenspeed keyed something in incorrectly, right? Wrong.
I checked the serial number the device is displaying now, and it's different than the sticker on the back of the device. I called Jon @ Lund Racing, and he said this is literally impossible. He's never heard of this ever happening before, and because he's in Texas, couldn't really offer any further assistance. So, with it being Friday at 6:30PM, every single shop is closed. All of the tuners at AM left at 5pm, Brenspeed left at 5pm, etc etc.
I have to get my car to a shop 45 miles away by 7am on Monday morning for some work, and now I can't. I flashed the car back to stock prior to updating the device, and now I can't even re-load the old tunes back onto it. Everything has been wiped, and the serial number is changed.
Please help!

You're going to have to get ahold of someone at SCT, they are going to be the only ones that can fix it.
Sometimes one of them checks the forums on the weekend, there was a post over on AFM.
And I think there are forums on the SCT website, might try there.
