Deeper, as stroker 4.6 mods allow the piston to come out of the sleeve on the bottom end too much causing wear as I've heard. So a deeper sleeve fixes the problem without having to go to a taller deck which would make it so expensive it wouldn't even be worth it to Ford, Longer timing chains/wider intake/higher exhaust/timing cover etc.
