RPM dips while coming to a stop.

This happened yesterday when I just started driving for 2 minutes. I haven't used the car in 3 days and yesterday was my first. When I pulled out and got to a stop light the RPM dipped to maybe 200rpm it felt like the car wanted to shut down. I was in N and I was stepping on the brake pedal nothing else. This was the first and only time this happened, after driving it around it was okay and never happened again. I have a 2012 GT with just 3000 miles on it. stick. Should I step on the gas pedal all the way just to let the gas start flowing or something?

Most likely nothing wrong. Cars are mechanical and electrical....every once in a while something strange but minor will happen. If it happens twice....look into the problem.

I have notices that mine does this also. After driving for a little bit when I come to a stop light the car will drop rpms to about 200 then go back up to normal. It is more dramatic when the AC is on. The first couple times I freaked out because o thought the car was going to die. I guess now I am just used to it. I thought mine had something to do with the tune though.

When i initially got my tune my car used to do this. I could reproduce it every time, same spot, same style of driving. I would be getting off the interstate and go around a sweeping curve. There was always a stop light after a right turn coming off of the interstate. Once i made my right turn i would always accelerate hard(because it was a pretty good straight away) and then put the car in neutral and coast to a stop. The RPM's would then dip down and come back up after i came to a complete stop. The same spot everytime. A month or two later my tuner called me up for an update and it hasn't done it since.

My car has done this since new, now at 20k miles. I was running 100% stock for the first 18k miles and had the this happen from time to time, almost always when the AC was on. FYI - the car never actually stalled, just dipped a few hundred rpms before recovering. Now that I am running a CAI and Tune, the issue still happens, no change. I think this is a design flaw in the IAC Valve and/or electronics that don't allow for quick enough adjustment under certain conditions.

My 05 has done this on occasion, and the last time was when I disconnected the battery.

I guess you could try that (disconnect the battery) and go through the proper procedure for it to learn and drive the **** outta it and see if that corrects the issue.
(wondering if it has something do do with the adaptive learning in the PCM)
Again, it could have nothing to do with that and I could be just talking out my ***
