Request: Sound clips of V6 with H pipe

Want to hear some clips of a V6 with an H pipe. Preferably with either stock axle backs or Corsa sport axle backs (or something similar sounding). Having a hard time deciding what direction I want to go with my exhaust.

Prefer catted H pipes, but will listen to either or.

youtube has a few videos. I can't tell 'much' difference between an x pipe and a h pipe. This isn't my Mustang

If i remember correctly the stock v6 exhaust has an h pipe. I switched to an x pipe on mine.

It would seem that the stock exhaust is an H pipe, as illustrated in the above link. Looks exactly like what I took out of my car when I replaced it with an BBK shorty X pipe to match the BBK long tube headers.

Stock exhaust on mine is an X pipe. Perhaps the GT is different.

My big question at this moment: how loud/raspy will an off road mid pipe sound? And also, let's say I get the Lethal o/r h pipe, if I were to remove the cats from my stock exhaust and weld them to the Lethal would it even sound different then stock?

I guess I'm wondering how much of the sound is contributed by the cats, and how much to tube design.

The stock exhaust on my 2014 v6 is an X pipe. Do you have a GT or a six?

There is a resonator in front of the 2 feet long factory catt also. Removing them will 'add' a lot of extra sound. I went with a 'catted' shorty x pipe when i installed my long tube headers to help cut down the rasp. Even with my Magnaflow street axle backs, i have a lot of rasp when i rev while parked. Its not as bad when i am 'getting on it' while driving.

After a few weeks i reinstalled my factory mufflers just to see how they would sound with my long tubes. Sounded pretty good but i could feel a loss of power so i put my Magnaflows back on, power came back.

I have a 6. See signature and forum name. Of couse i could be remembering incorrectly. It has been 3 years since i switched from stock to BBK and my stock exhaust has long been recycled. BBK long tube headers and catted shorty X pipe along with bassani axlebacks equals window rattling sound at WOT, but nice rumble at idle.
