My purchase agreement always specifies no front plate, no Armor All and no dealer ID.

+ 1. Same here and on my last Mustang the dang dealer put all that stuff on anyway and I threw a fit. The salesman was honest with me and told me he forgot to tell them. He dropped what he was doing and had everything taken back off. I would not sign a thing until I inspected everything after they got everything back off.

My dealer was told to leave ALL plastic on the vehicle and do nothing more than mechanical checks on it once it arrives. No plate surround either.

Hmm, hadnt thought about that. I am **** about anybody driving a newly ordered car as well. I dont even want them to drive it to fill up the tank. One of my buddies ordered a stripped down chevy wt truck and the local dealer had to get it from another state about 150 miles away and he made them go get it on a roll back. Said he wanted a new truck and not a used one. The sales guy thought he had lost his mind. I really would not care about something like that but a Mustang is different.

I don't think it will, and even if it does, I'll be claying, sealing, then waxing the car, and doing a thorough cleaning of the interior before it leaves my driveway again. I'd rather know that someone who doesn't care enough won't be touching my car.
