Problem with tire spin into 2nd gear

On second though 2012GTCS...you have the GT? I wouldn't try powershifting at all on the street tires if you have the GT, because you will for sure end up sideways into a barrier. 
As others have mentioned in this thread, the street tires are quite dangerous (which I've learned myself now)

Yeah, Ive got a some better tires on there. I've done it before just not in this beauty. And I wouldn't go all out either way. Just one day I may need to smoke someone that may be of decent competition and ill need every bit I can....
