Practicality of a staggered setup for me. What do you think?
Sorry. I had to after all the ribbing you took. Your setup looks great.I went staggered. Ordered black machined Boss Laguna Secas. They are going to look great on my Sterling Gray. Can't wait to get rid of the stock wheels.
I wouldn't say you'd have to go staggered... but I would at least go with a wide square set-up. Then again, it'd be more expensive to buy wider front tires/wheels when you only want them on the back.
Staggered is fine. The bigger questions are what width (285, 295 or wider) in the rear and what profile (30, 35, etc)?
That will affect ride quality, plus whether or not your tires will "rub", etc.

These will go great with Sterling Gray.
That all depends Al, I've seen plenty of performance tires on performance cars that could have used a rotation. The issue so much wasn't wear due to alignment but just normal wear and tear on a decoupled tread block which would require replacing the tire ahead of schedule.
I've been in the tire business for at least 13 years and have never heard of "decoupled tread block". Don't know where you ever heard that term or what the hell it pertains to. Geez guys it's getting deep in here.
