Well so far I don't think has taken the chain to pull their engine and dyno it just to be certain. It could very well be that the Mustang's driveline just doesn't rob as much power as those in the past did, because I believe folks are saying the same about the GT500.

Stang wins

I recently sold my 2004 M3 and got the Mustang GT. I have also driven the 135. All three are great, fast cars. But, they are different animals. The raw power of the GT is intoxicating, IMHO. Maybe not quite as refined or the handling prowess of the BMW's, but if I had to choose, I'd take the Mustang. Plus, if you get the premium package Mustang, the "luxury" of the BMW is diminished.
