I hate the black plastic piece that in between the grill and headlight.
So I was thinking of putting a white laminate over the piece or finding some other alternative.
Thoughts?

I took mine off. Well the real reason is cause a rock hit it from a vehicle in front of me and it cracked.

I painted much of the black plastic body color. You can see it in My Garage.

I don't know what Ford was thinking not painting that body color. That body color frame around the grill is in my opinion a huge part of the Mustang look. Leaving it black was like they were copying the Camaro. They did the same thing with some Mustangs in the early 70s and again they were copying Camaro while Camaro went with the body color surround around the grill making it look like a Mustang,,,,,weird how that goes.

Yep, I couldn't believe it when they did that.
