Please help ID this noise (video)

Location is front right wheel, when braking <10mph, going forward only. No play in tie rods, endlinks or struts.

Interesting.....there might not be any play when checking them by hand...when stopping like that the weight of the vehicle is pushing against a few fixed components...almost sounds like a strut or strut mount going bad. Have someone stand next to the car as you come to a stop like that and see if they can identify where the sound is coming from.

Is it when you hit the brakes it happens?
I had a 91 Nissan 300ZX before which did this. It was a bad subframe bushing.

Yes while braking. I think it's coming from the strut mount. The sound can't be replicated by going in reverse. Definitely a suspension component that's affected by forward movement.

Sounds almost metal on metal on my phone's speakers.

You do brakes recently?

Brakes were done over a year ago without issue. OEM parts.

Ok, I've had issues with the pads clunking in the calipers before. Sounds like that's not the problem

Bumping this to see if any has anymore ideas what this could be. I've been chasing this noise for awhile.

Just had the Front LCAs, ball joints, tierods, endlinks, sway bar, k brace checked, fully greased - all solid, no play...noise is still present.

Only thing left is the upper strut mounts or possibly the brake pads themselves.
