Front Spiltter/Spoiler

How has your front splitter fared? I thought about buying a new one, and keeping the original one in pristine condition, but decided to just park carefully.
I avoid parking at restaurants that have tall curbs or high wheel stops.

My LS splitter has held up pretty good with dailying it all the time. I just back into parking spots, although it has some marks on the bottom from bottoming out every now and then.

Same here, I keep bottoming out with the lowered car. If and when it gets really bad, I will just order a new one.

Has anyone attached an aftermarket splitter? I thought these plastic splitters were cheap but seems like they're like $300-500. At that price I would think you could get an aftermarket one.

I've installed two different splitters on my car.
It really all depends on what style and size you're looking for. The functional carbon fiber ones get pretty pricey.

I had some serious problems with the entrance to my driveway last year after the brutal northeast winter and I gouged up the splitter pretty bad. Rather than replace it, I sanded it with 80 grit up to 150 grit and then shot automotive flat black primer on the entire part. Came out just fine.
