My 2016 GT 350 Wheel issue

I bought a warranty for my wheels. Said they would replace any wheel that got damaged so I purchased this warranty and just the other day I was pulling out of a narrow ATM and got some rash on rear wheel. Made me sick but I remembered purchasing wheel warranty and the dealership is saying let them bring a guy in and try to repair first if he succeeds you will never notice.
I told the manager that's not what was told me when I purchased the wheel warranty any damage wheel would be replaced. I told them these wheels and tires are speed rated and I didn't want to worry about any issues and dealership said no worries. So what do you think should the wheel be replaced or let them try and repair first ? I think this sucks myself.

Repair first is typical. If it looks ew then who cares. It's very unlikrly it is structurally compromised. If it doesn't come out OK, insist on a new one.

Pull the warranty you bought and read it. Look for a clause that allows them to try a repair first, in lieu of replacement. If you cannot find one, ask the dealer to point out, where it says they can repair it, and not replace it. With that said, honestly, I wouldn't worry about a road rash repair. If the wheel is cracked or has lost air pressure, due to the damage, that is a different matter. Replace it.

If it's a Ford warranty you can call Ford Customer Service (800-392-FORD) and see what they say.

I would just take a chisel and hammer and put a deep groove in the lip. Can't repair that.

Curb rash on an aluminum wheel can certainly be repaired.
The carbon fiber wheels are only on the R model
