No, but it'll be goofy when you break someone's ankle or take out a small animal.

While I understand it adds downforce I'm sure it also adds drag. Not sure if that's going to help you at the mile.

The car feels floaty at 115 already, I am not sure how it would feel like going around 140? Anyone can chimp in? (Safe, offroad environment, friends from germany)

What do you have? Maybe just add the Boss splitter.

If you have a GT the CS valance should improve downforce at speed. Add the Boss splitter and you should have a nice improvement over stock.

The CS lower adds minimal downforce, if any. Adding the Boss splitter should do a decent amount to a road car, with the ability to be streetable. Going all out for the LS splitter is good, but overkill unless you're going to be a heavy track rat IMO.

I thought someone posted the actual numbers on downforce specs from the base and LS front splitters? Anyone?

The surface area of the CS valance is significantly larger than the GT valance and 2-3 times that of the Boss splitter. Surface area doesn't necessarily equate to downforce but you need it to create downforce.

The goal is to create a pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces. I don't think the shape of the fascia does that enough. The splitter, on the other hand, does that.

Dardi, I got the CS valance from my local Ford dealer, as it came out to be the same price with shipping & handling from an online dealer. With same order, I also got the GT500 rear diffuser. However, I ordered the Boss splitter from newfordparts.com (Varsity Ford), as they were one of the few ones which actually had them in stock at that point.

CDC Front Spoiler with Roush Grille

I personally love the CDC front spoiler. I added the Roush Grille, and originally put Pilot foglamps in the lower openings. But, after a month, one of the fogs shorted out. So, I took my original fogs and custom mounted them behind the grille. To me, this is what Ford should have done with the Boss 302 instead of the cheap plastic grille with fake plastic covered fogs.

I prefer the GT/CS fascia to the Boss, but the way you tied everything in with the side splitters, I think it looks really good! You made me a believer

Looks good. Could you give some details on how you mounted the fogs?

Floaty? Stock I'd agree. You need suspension improvements to stabilize the car, not a splitter..
