It's true great minds think a like and if someone has a good idea you can borrow it. Lol!
If you don't plan to take your car on track, there is no reason to get the brake cooling ducts. They are a necessity if you do plan to take it on track. These cars are quite heavy and carry a lot of speed on track, so they require a lot of braking capability.

BTW, to the OP... I love the look you have going on with the all black/aggressive look

That's awesome man, love the look. I was going to go the same way but I might keep it wingless and avoid the splitter. Just lower it and call it a day.

Nice ride

Thanks for all your comments and compliments! It's so much fun making the Stang YOUR own ride!

I was thinking about darker side markers, either smoked or tinted... don't know yet, but it's on the "?" list.

Thanks to Steve (Overboost) I still need to get the GT500 splash guards for the back, as they will complete the look of the rear fascia.

Steve, I know you had a post somewhere on how to remove the factory pony emblem from the grille. I searched for it, but was unable to find it...
I just remember something about an 8mm or 10mm socket...
How hard is it to exchange the pony in the grille?

Different Steve, but here's a pic. It's held on by those pesky one-way spring clips over the plastic posts..

I also like the fogs in the grille, so was wondering how it would look with the CS fascia/BOSS splitter and keeping the fogs in the grille. Most people have gone with removing the fogs from grille so didn't have pics to visualize.

Looks as fantastic as I thought it would, thanks for posting the pics!!

Steve:
Thanks for posting the picture of the grille... that gives me a good idea. Do you simply pry those plastic "washers" off, or will you be reusing them?

If you're careful you can re-use them. I've also seen Molded Pony's in various finishes that form fit over the stock one. No removal or surgery if you go that way..

Question - I have a 2010 GT that I have done the same mods to (GT/CS front lower valance, GT500 rear valance, and Roush side splitters) - the Boss front splitter - is it an OEM Ford part or aftermarket - and if OEM Ford - what is the p/n? Many thanks>>>

The rocker splitters and the Boss splitter are really going well together and "round off" the entire look, in my opinion...

Hope you enjoy the pics!!!
Yep..I am either going Black or Grey this time with the Brembo Package (those are the best wheels since the 2000R's and FR 500's).

Man I love your car!!

Wow I love the way ur car looks. I really like that gt500 wing and want to get it but I was wondering what the install was like. Does it use the same holes as ur original spoiler. Thx.

Where did you come up with 2 minutes? I think it's going to take a lot longer than that.

Andy your car looks great.

I couldn't help laughing at that! My Boss splitter just arrived this morning and there are 26 (count em) fasteners that hold it in place!

I can't imagine that the Laguna Seca piece is any different. Seems it would be a real liability on the street, plus it extends so far it looks goofy (IMO). That and it's a whopping $700!!!
