performance pack
I'm not all that familiar with the options or Performance Pack on the V/6, but I assumed that it had the 3-way adjustable power steering mode, as does my GT. Setting it in the least sensitive position (Sport) on a twisty road doesn't necessarily take out any over-steer, but slowing the input does result with the same effect. Great tool and I set mine according to the conditions. In town, curvy road, etc.
Does that make sense? That's how I explain it to myself.
Went back and forth from Sport to Standard (never tried Comfort) and way too many oversteering occasions for me in Sport.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
changing the Dymanic feel of Sport / Standard / Comfort mode ONLY changes the actual feel of the wheel and does not actually change how the car dampens, correct?

Correct. Only the Shelbies with the Track Pack have electronically adjustable dampers...
^ Yeah, I know it doesn't say it changes steering ratio *in the manual* (I've had the car almost 2 years...), but it feels like it does change something re the wheel response around the center/neutral position. IOW it feels like more than just driver effort changes (to me), but I know the manual doesn't say anything re that.
I drove in Sport mode for more than a year and was always getting oversteer, yet it's maybe happened once since I went back to Standard, in the same situations (yes, it's that predictable). Try it anyway if you think you're running into oversteer situations quite often. See if you can figure out what's going on, if there's something else there. I haven't really played with it, the Standard mode made such a diff to reducing oversteer for me. ['13 V6 Premium/MCA/3.31 100% stock]
