Passenger floor mat
How much money does it save Ford to not put some hooks on the passenger side to hold the **** floormat in place? Understand it's a safety issue on the driver's side, but I have to move the passenger mat every single time anybody rides over there. Same thing in the Taurus.

Try telling them to NOT USE THE CARPET AS A PUSHING DEVICE.
This is just about the only reason it moves... and they're going to ruin it with the plant-push-twist-exit move. Get out of the car correctly, and it's not an issue.
/Then again, I'm wearin' a hole in mine while driving it with the throttle... so I shouldn't *****, right?

Ford isn't worried about the mat on the right side getting shoved up under the pedals.
There are clips that you can get at the parts store or on ebay that are made just for holding floor mats in place.

Then that typical user behavior would mean they spray the floor pans with some sorta bedliner, and forgo carpets, like a Jeep. Because not only the getting out issue, but also food, drinks, whatever, winds up down there, and why have nice carpet if it's gonna get abused.
People need training. Don't coddle them. This is why Priuses can't be stopped when their throttles go stupid.
