Has anyone sucessfully ordered a Job 2 car, specifically a Yellow blaze Mustang? I have tried dealing with 4 different dealers and they all say they can't order one yet. The updated order guide is out and it shows job 2 starting 8/16/2010. I have seen 2 other posts saying the job 2 order bank opened 6/21/2010.
I am really getting tired of dealing with salesmen that know nothing about the new Mustang. So far I have been told all Mustangs come with Brembo brakes, the MCA edition is a 5.0 motor,I can get a 3.73 axle with the auto. trans., the California Special comes in all colors, and best of all, it only takes 3 weeks to get a Mustang after you order it.

 

Ha, you too have bad luck in Texas with know nothing sales personnel?

 

My salesman has been pretty good to me in spite of Ford. Where at in Texas trcr1?

 

The question is, has the ordering for job2 actually opened yet?

I understood the whole question and that wasn't entirely it. I can't answer about the order banks accepting job #2 orders but I might be able to help with the poor dealer information part. I'm sure my salesman would be more than happy to investigate this if there could be a potential sale in the end but I'm not going to waste his time if they're at opposite ends of the state.

 

My Deal in Austin was $500 over dealer cost. And they had 10k over invoice listed on a GT500 with a SVT package on the dealer floor and it lasted a week!!!

On Monday, my salesman gave me a demo of the computer ordering process. We tried to order a yellow blaze car, and the computer said "Not available until Job 2." It did show it was a $495 option though. I don't know the date when it will accept the order, but it must be coming soon.

are you meaning invoice with holdback+delivery+fdaf+fuel+500?

or are you meaning invoice without holdback +fdaf+fuel+delivery +500

or ivoice without holdback +delivery+500.

In West Texas, Odessa. All the dealers out here will sell me one at the Xplan price, but no one knows a thing about how to order or what to order.
