We like the retro looks, the improved handling, the awesome sync package. That said, lately I've had several Camaro drivers pull up next to me and give me thumbs up. OKEY DOKEY, I have to admit that I enjoy it. MOST OF US DO!

I don't know about all of that.
Here is what I said and mean.
I love the way the mustang looks, and yes I get compliments too. BUT! I said, if your only buying a mustang because of the attention and the looks, that's wrong. yes it has looks, duh. And it has alot of other things as well.

The OP made it sound like he loved the attention he was getting and that's it. Read what he said, " girls look at me more if I have another girl in the car"

Really? I have been to DC where he is from, and it is very different here in TX. My opinion is, yes the mustang is a fantastic car, and IMO the best of the 3 muscle cars, you are not a big shot just because you own one.

The bolded part you made up and that's why you're full of dung.

The fact I made a thread about reactions we get to our cars (and let's be honest, it's based on looks) doesn't mean that's ALL I care about.

I'm sure you like that it goes fast, too; but quite honestly, you can't hear the reactions from people who are shrinking in the rear view mirror.

Well since I'm 64, fat and ugly I'm assuming that the thumb's up and smiles are for my car and not me ~

Girls at my school love my car. Guys at my school trash it (only thing they have on it is it's a V6). Everyday for lunch I take 5 girls in my car to lunch (Yes I realize there's only 4 seats).. And one day I asked why we always have to take my car.. "Why can't we take Lauren's brand new Caddy?" ..."Because your car is so hot!" Girls don't care how it performs.. Guys do.

Ricers: Hate it. Douches in big trucks: Hate it. Jock in the Hummer: Hate it. Moms and Dads: Hate it. 30-40 year old guys in mini-vans: Hate it. Old Guys: Like it. Kids in passenger seats: Love it. Cops: hate it/glare at me. Camaro/Challenger Drivers: Envy it.

I get lots of stares/looks/feelings (partially because I'm 16) from a lot of different people and I can tell what they're thinking/feeling.
