Observations about who comments on your Mustang
Every time I go through a drive thru window and a teenage boy is working I always get compliments in the Raptor. I'm not looking for them, but I sure remember being that age and if I saw a truck like that I'd **** sure give the owner a compliment.
Doesn't make me a better person in any way whatsoever. Just means I like my truck and sometimes other people like it too.

Yes, I do that while I'm at my job at the highest (snicker) echelons of government in DC.
A car, much like a job and a woman, are things that improve your image and status (this is not the only benefit these three items provide, obviously). There is nothing wrong with that. I'm not sure where you are from, but in DC, image is EVERYTHING

Yeah, let's see if we can discourage more young people from buying American Ford Mustangs.

Joker admits he is the type that pops his collar for the DC Beltway crowd (you know the thieves of taxpayers?). If you remember his earlier indecisive comments about the Ford Mustang, the comment fits. He was unsure which car he would 'look' best in.
Whereas 2011/GTCS' comments reflect appreciation for the American V8 Mustang itself - regardless if a bystander notices or not.
As to the mass produced comment, isn't that something true Mustang owners are proud of?? Continuously produced since 1964 - something neither the Camaro, Challenger, or Corvette can lay claim to. And don't even mention Bavarianazi Motors.

Right on Texas!
An Oregon cowboy's got your back.

I don't understand why some of you are bashing this young Texas Mustang owner. Not only is he carrying his own weight (at 18), he appreciates American Muscle
He said the Mustang being mass produced is a bad thing. You know who talks like that? Teenagers trying WAY too hard to be unique.

You obviously don't understand Oregon. Most that simply look at political results don't. It's practically a civil war - for about 3/4 a century now. The Willamette Valley has all those ***s - as reflected in the legislature due to their congregating together for fudgepacking & snail eating seminars.
The east side of the Cascades and southern Oregon has the cowboys/cowgirls & libertarian hippies that just want to be left the hell alone by the rest of the world. And have long sought to join with uppermost N California and separate to establish the 51st State of Jefferson - due to being constantly ignored by both Salem and Sacramento.

No one really pops their collar in DC. The closest you get are the frat boys in northern Virginia who like to bro out.
Agreed. I don't get to collectively bargain my wages, pension, or healthcare and I'm doing more than fine.
Like what? Because I MY Mustang is bit floaty and my girlfriend's Acura TL type S has more fun steering? I didn't realize we had to groupthink that the Mustang is literally flawless. I love this car and I don't regret. And how it looked played a big factor. If you put the 5.0 in a Scion and called it a Mustang I wouldn't have bought it.
Isn't your state full of socialists and hippies?
I Love my mustang, and all of the previous Mustangs I have owned in the past. They are good cars, I have not belittled them
In any way and if it seems I have I did not. Everything I have said is a fact. Mustangs and Mazda's are made every day. I am sorry but I don't feel like I am some kind of lucky and special person because I can pay $3XX.XX a month for my car. Mustangs ( mostly all fords) are produced for the masses. Why do you think in 1965 there were over 500,000 mustangs sold.
You bought this car because of the way it looks, I get that. Seems most people do. I am different. Not everyone is the same as you.

Since it's actually about who notices and comments on your MUSTANG, not how you look in it. OP was asking what other people got as responses to their car. More than likely just to see if they experienced the same thing.
You started this thread, and what me me even respond to this was your stereotypes about everything. You seem to think that every 18 year old drives a Lexus or BMW. Then the Socialist and Hippie quote.

And yeah, that's part of the reason I got a Mustang.
You're acting like that. If I said "Asians use chopsticks" you'd come back and say you know some who don't. It. So what? Doesn't change the fact Asians use chopsticks.
Besides, the whole POINT OF THIS THREAD is that I'm talking about my personal observations in MY geographic area. What is up with you, man?
Oh no...
... like my 50+ yr old communist neighbor that still reminisces about her good ol' days back at CU Boulder... (as if that has any relevance to real life)
And he was expressing his point of view...
Or was this a private thread?
