[QUOTE=cdynaco;6885468] Yeah I've not read one post on the 3.7 that I can recall. And I prefer mechanical/technical threads so I try to catch them all (since there aren't near as many these days). But I don't think there are many 3.7 with tunes here as there are 5.0 with tunes.

I've been running tunes on my 2011 v6 since August (i think) 2010. Evolution performance (Jon Lund), no problems. I've also used Steeda tunes but running MPT tunes now.

Your right about most of the parts have been changed on the 2011-2012 5.O. I felt the 2011 5.O wasn't ready so i bought a v6. I'm happy i did

Steeda corrected it in 2011. Not one #8 failure.
And still going strong!

Best Regards,

I wonder how many people had to pay to fix the #8 issue before the tuners accepted some responsibility for it.

This 2011 Mustang 5.0's Motor is Blown - and Not in the Good Way

I'm not a mechanic, but I believe that when you give your last-generation Mustang 5.0 some gas, the only smoke you should see behind you should be coming from your tires, not your exhaust pipes.

The narrator was laughing about the blown 5.0 engine? I would have been crying not laughing?

My BS meter is going off here. The engine sounded perfectly normal to me. Could the "smoke" just be vapor when starting in the cold?
My car will "smoke" for a few seconds right after a really cold start. That doesn't mean the engine is blown.
