No 2015 for me
My $0.02, for what it's worth (probably not even $0.02):
I was on the fence about waiting for a 2015 or snagging a 2014 from leftover inventory. IMO the front ends of the '10-'14 are nicer, but the rear of the '15 looks better. Plus it's lower and has more squat haunches. I'm not sold on the '15 interior yet; materials seem better, but aesthetically it's a bit busy.
What really sold me on my '14 was that it was heavily rebated and, being the last year of this gen, hopefully the most buttoned-up. For my money I wouldn't pay ~mid-$30k for a Mustang GT. But it's a helluva bargain in the mid $20ks.

That is a false correlation to claim that Ford's choice to "brand" the front end of their cars (showing little innovation in front end design) somehow equates to billions in profits.
That F profit needs to be put in the context of the rebound in auto sales for most all manufacturers - not just Ford - due to the historically extreme age of America's fleet combined with pent up demand post Great Implosion combined with historically generous loan interest rates. Not to mention continuing and unprecedented Fed intervention (QE 1,2,3,?) which has propelled corporate (paper) profits to record levels across numerous industries. My investment accounts are at record levels too. Aren't yours? Which of course has nothing to do with Ford's choice of 3 basic front end designs.
I'm glad you like your cars.

Your right . . . product doesn't sell, how silly of me . . .
While I concur that there are multiple factors contributing to 2013's high profits and income, the fact remains that if people didn't like the cars . . . they wouldn't buy them.

You are discounting Ford loyalty where buyers will tolerate certain things they don't like. Many of whom loathe GM for all kinds of reasons including the obvious. So plenty of Ford buyers hold their nose at the current design and buy anyway - like they will the '15 Mustang. Like they did the 10-12 diaper. Doesn't mean they are ecstatic about certain design elements. Doesn't mean the design team should (and could) do better than feverishly trying to narrow the front end look to a corporate branding (rather than model specific) - as if that somehow compels people to think "omg - look it's a Ford front end - I have to buy one now!".

Same here. 15 performance is good especially when I read some review say '15 GT with performance package constantly beat Boss. But I don't lean to its style that much. Maybe just because the pictures don't do the job well. When we see it in person, we may change our mind.
Quit talking yourselves out of the 15 guys. It's going to be a better car. With a few aftermarket parts, it will be a real looker also. I don't really like the looks of the 15 either but I see a lot of potential to make it look great. Just to see what Saleen did to fix the front end has me excited to see more. Oh and did I mention it's going to be a better car?
Oh come on. Buck up man. It was the same in '10. (And the same in '05 for the SN95 die hards.) It is what it is. Many good features but many questions for where Ford designers are coming from. All we can do is express our opinion honestly - while staying loyal - so hopefully corporate listens for the next revision. Like they did somewhat in '13.
Just start counter posting in the positive threads if it bothers you that much.

From certain angles the 14 and 15 almost look the same. The 15 just has a better front end hahaha
