newbie here

Hi guys, I have been a long time reader and just joined today. I have loved mustangs since I was a kid. I originally had an 11 v6 on order but waited for almost four months and finally had enough of my car sitting at ramp 51. So I bought a new 10 gt with all the options from my v6 order. Anyway, good to be aboard.

Thx, so far I have been loving it. More power than last car which was an 05 accord coupe. I love that v8 sound!

I was gonna say, I bet you're enjoying the sound of the V8 over the V6. My 5.0 sounds wicked with the new exhaust

Yeah, I drove both and had to have the v8. The v6 was powerful but did not have the rumble or low end torque of the gt. I love the new 5.0 but the deals are almost too good on the 10's. I love turning the traction control off and letting her rip!

Congrats on your new purchase. Nothing better then the roar of a V8

Be careful with that traction control, sure is fun and addicting though lol

Thx, it is hard not to speed sometimes. I will save that for the track. People all the time though try and race. I just think about my insurance spiking and that stops that temptation.

Thx, sam with yours. I am also thinking of tinting my fogs. Looks good! I really like the wheels on yours. First mod for me though is a clear bra for the front. Then start saving for a supercharger.

I was given a 2010 auto GT as a loaner and it was STOUT. Very nice ride!

Yeah, the power on these cars is amazing. 315 hp is more than enough for me at the moment. However, 412 hp does sound better. I still can give an SS camaro a run for his/her money. Challengers just look the other way.

Thx again, that is what I really like about this site. True mustang brethren. One question though, do any ten or eleven owners notice the factory paint is not the greatest. I noticed a little bit of crows feet on the hood. It is about the size of a bb. Anyone out there have any issues? Also have a couple spots on the firewall behind the battery under the hood. Besides that though she is a beast!
