Sounds good in theory. But every time (and I've done this more than once) I tell the salesman to tell the prep guys NOT to put the sticker on, they put the sticker on. LOL!

On the other hand, one of the local Ford dealers is "Jerry's Ford" and I went up there once to GET some stickers from them. After all, it is Jerry's Ford.

Because "minimum wage wax monkey" doesn't sound as nice....

The wife just picked up her 2011 V6 Convertible from Purvis Ford in Fredericksburg. All they put on was a license plate frame. No stupid decals on the car. I told the salesman that I appreciated them not sticking their name on the car. He said ", We don't put that kind of stuff on. Nobody likes that that kind of thing".

Wow, they did do a nice job. I'm glad they fixed their screw-up, and you left happy. Congrats on that beautiful car!

One thing I can't stand is the dealer "decal" that gets put on the back. I'm HOPING my dealer doesn't put it on top of the black MCA applique. That would be more difficult to remove than from the paint. And you can bet I intend to remove it.
If I caught anybody putting a dealer decal or emblem on the back of my new car I'd have to walk back there and kick some serious butt... why is it I see LOTS of that crap in the midwest??? That is SOOO unacceptable!!!!

Looks great! Glad that it's resolved. Here in California, I'm not even going to risk it without a plate.

As long as you obey all other traffic laws and don't draw attention to yourself, you should be fine in CA with no front plate.
