Order using D-Plan since I have 2 brothers who work as Ford Mechanics. Applied $1,000 Ford Rebate here in NY. Can I still use $500 Ford cash/coupon from brochure??

Originally wanted a Boss but couldn't justify 12k over the price of the car listed above. Since I could not get D-plan on the boss. Also my dealer could not get a Boss. Definitely happy with the car I ordered! Almost ordered GHIG but wasn't sure if I could live with it everyday especially without stripes.

The Ingot Silver is vary easy to keep looking clean.

 

My dealer said typical delivery is 6-8 weeks but he said he was due to order a mustang so my order may be less than 4 weeks... Is that possible??

 

Never heard of it actually; new to the muscle car scene.

Some dealers have higher allocation levels than others, so hard to say. To be honest, besides the first orders in this year, I haven't seen anyone get it in 4 weeks or less.

I'd lean towards the 6-8 weeks wait.

my cousin just order one on wednesday 6/6 where i got mine, sayville ford in LI, put it through as a priority 1.. got pulled thurs 6/7 and already has the VIN with a build week of 6/25.
how's that for fast

 

It could also sit 5-6 weeks before it's delivered to the dealer. Never count your chicks to soon

 

Mine is set for that build week as well, and I ordered on May 19th.

 

of course, anything "could" happen. when i order my '10 it took almost 6 weeks just to get a VIN. point is they're serializing much faster now

 

Im thinking of calling to switch my color from Silver to DIB or Sterling Gray... I haven't been able to see a DIB in person. Does DIB have a purple tint? Or is it like Kona just lighter? Its very hard to tell on the computer and Ford's pictures do not show any color correctly. Any thoughts? DIB vs Sterling Gray. Im sure some will be biased haha

 

don't usually like silver but it looks really good on the '13, i'ld keep it.
+ you don't have to worry abt it ever looking dirty

 

I'm biased to sterling grey awesome color....

 

I think both colors look good, personal opinion really. I've yet to see a DIB in person, though I ordered it because I like blue, but it's been said to have a hint of purple in the right light (see https://themustangsource.com/f819/de...purple-508772/).

Same here with our '10. Twelve weeks, thought it would never get here. Our '13 was six weeks on the nose.

OP, congrats on the order. I would say prepare for eight weeks at the least, then if it's earlier how great will that be. A member here "Sky Hye" has some great pics, and write ups about his deep impact blue. It may help you decide.

Me, I'm partial to the Candy Red as you can see.

Hey guys thanks for all of your help! I've decided to go with Sterling grey after seeing the colors on the focus I really like the metallic in the Sterling grey. The dib is great too just a lil too dark and too purplish in the shade in the sunlight it looks like sky hye's car. Can't wait for the car already planning mods possibly order Ford Whipple with the car to be installed later
